Our Vision
The Gladstone Seafarers Centre works with, and for, the people of the sea. The staff and volunteers work around the clock to support international and domestic Seafarers ensuring their spiritual, emotional and physical needs are met whenever they visit Gladstone. The Centre provides a home environment offering day respite to Seafarers and locals 7 days a week. The transport service spans approximately 285km and services the entire Gladstone Port form Bundaberg in the South to Port Alma in the North. For the people of the sea, we are only a phone call away.
Our Culture
At the Gladstone Seafarers Centre there is a culture of change. Staff and volunteers pride themselves on being reliable and adaptable. Seafarers can rely on one of our team members to make themselves available to support them as an individual. We are a non-denominational society in Gladstone providing spiritual support when requested based on their personal needs.
